Quick update:
Showdown on Saturday did not happen. The Kabaka (king) decided it was better to postpone the visit so that more people were not killed.
I don't think the issue is over or fully resolved, but for now life is back to normal in Kampala.
P.S. I went rafting on the Nile yesterday. One of the funnest experiences of my life. I hope to get some pictures and post them soon.
