I know this is a little late coming, but I wanted everyone to know that I, along with all the other Pepperdine contigent, am safe and sound. No one I know personally was at either site that was attacked on Sunday. However, I do have friends of friends that were killed and would ask that you all keep Kampala in your prayers at this time. We all hope that Sunday night's events were isolated events, but this may not be the case as another bomb was found last night at a pub in a different part of town. Thankfully, the police were called and it was diffused.
The entire reality of this city changed in an instant. Please continue to keep all those effected by the attacks in your thoughts and prayers.
